September 11, 2010 SILENT AUCTION
The Cuban American Bar Association is pleased to be holding its Sixth Annual Art in the Tropics Charitable Auction Event, which will be including, amongst many things, a Silent Auction for Art. The event will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010, at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, Garden House, located at 10901 Old Cutler Road, Coral Gables, Florida 33156. All proceeds will go to benefit CABA's Pro Bono Project, which offers free legal services to the community.

i WILL BE SHOWCASING 2 OF MY PIECES AND 1 PLATE.

JUNE EVENTS 2010

Take Stock in Children was established in 1995 as a non-profit organization in Florida that provides a unique opportunity for low-income and at-risk students, many from minority families, to escape the cycle of poverty through education. Giving is Living event to be held from 7-10 pm on Wednesday, June 23 at the Epic Hotel's River Lounge, 270 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, Florida. The event will include a silent art auction which will feature one of my donated pieces.

Camp Courage Miami will aim to serve underprivileged and at-risk youth within the Little Havana community during the summer and throughout the next academic year! Camp Courage Miami charity Golf tournament on Saturday, June 12 at Shula's Golf Resort, 7601 Miami Lakes Drive, Miami Lakes, Fl. Silent auction & Dinner starting at 5pm. Yuma Fine Arts Association

Cafe' Cubano: Miami's Cuban Collection

More than 80 pieces of artwork are traveling from Miami to teach Yuma about the culture, people and history of an infamous island.

Art featured in the exhibit "Cafe Cubano" will bring with them the voices, passions and stories of artists who fled Cuba or were born into Cuban families living in Florida.

Art in the Park will be held once again at Ponce Circle Park during Gables gallery night walks on the first Friday of the month. The series of concerts will have monthly themes beginning with October’s Hispanic Heritage Month

Throughout the park, the usual Friday “happy hour” experience with champagne & beer bars and a cigar lounge. LOCAL ARTIST WILL DISPLAY AND SELL THEIR WORK.

Greetings!
Now that I have your attention I would like to invite you to come by & visit me at Calder Casino & Race Course! Why?
We get to see each other and I'll introduce you to my new EQUINE HORSE RACING pieces!


We will also get to celebrate "All Things Florida" where you and the kids can enjoy a day learning about Florida lore when Calder becomes home to Florida wildlife, historians and artists. There will also be Carnival booths and games for the kids.


One of the greatest advantages of living in Florida is our wonderful seafood and the fun starts with lunch at the Seafood Festival where you will be able to enjoy our Florida savory conch fritters, grouper fingers, shrimp, seafood gumbo and more Florida culinary specialties.

This Saturday just happens to be the Day featuring eight stakes races for registered Florida-breds worth $1.2 million.
Daily first race post time for the Tropical Meet is 12:25 p.m. and Calder's admissions gates open at 11:00 a.m.
